I LOVE Hoagies. If you do too, then you are in the right place.
I'm a hoagie snob. There I said it. I want to be inclusive but there are just so many things that can go wrong. In this realization, I am compelled to write about it. There. Isn't that inclusion in a different way? Full circle moment.
I get elated when I've selected the perfect place to get a hoagie. Or, when I have all my ingredients lined up and I am ready to put one together at home. It's like creating a masterpiece.
It takes time and precision. And here you thought it was just a sandwich or a sub*. Come on.
I love sharing my masterpieces and finds, but most importantly, eating them. I thrive on selecting the perfect ingredients to make sure the experience is life changing. I'm not eating all these calories and carbs for no reason.
I also try many different ways to eat healthy. Whole30, Paleo, Keto, 10-day smoothies, you name it and I've probably tried it. But, I always find my way back to hoagies. Whether it's cutting carbs with a lettuce wrap or a salad hack version, I like being creative to achieve that "hoagie essence"**. I'm thinking there are others out there like me.
Here you will find stories about hoagies -- places to get killer hoagies and recipes from my homemade masterpieces. I will also sprinkle in some hoagie history and interviews from other hoagie lovers all with a touch of sarcasm and humor, leaving your belly full and a smile on your face.
